This medication is used for patients who need to take both telmisartan and rosuvastatin simultaneously. Telmisartan is mainly used for the treatment of essential hypertension and helps reduce the risk of cardiovascular events like myocardial infarction and stroke in patients aged 55 and older who are at high risk for cardiovascular diseases. Rosuvastatin is used to manage hypercholesterolemia and hyperlipidemia when diet and exercise alone are insufficient. Additionally, rosuvastatin helps slow the progression of atherosclerosis and reduces the risk of diseases such as cardiovascular diseases and stroke. This medication is used to comprehensively improve cardiovascular health in patients with both hypertension and hyperlipidemia.
