This medication is used to prevent and treat vitamin D deficiency in elderly individuals, teenagers, and adults. Vitamin D plays an important role in maintaining bone health and calcium metabolism, thus helping to improve deficiency states and maintain health.

How it is given

Adult administration

Administer 200,000 IU of cholecalciferol by intramuscular injection. Elderly patients should administer 100,000 IU of cholecalciferol by intramuscular injection. Ensure that the annual dosage does not exceed 600,000 IU of cholecalciferol.

Child administration

Administer 200,000 IU of cholecalciferol by intramuscular injection.

Precautions
