This medication is suitable for patients who need to use telmisartan and rosuvastatin simultaneously. Telmisartan lowers blood pressure in patients with essential hypertension and helps reduce the risk of myocardial infarction, stroke, and cardiovascular mortality in individuals over 55 years of age who are at high risk for cardiovascular diseases. Rosuvastatin lowers cholesterol levels in patients with primary and mixed hyperlipidemia in conjunction with diet and delays the progression of atherosclerosis, thereby reducing the risk of cardiovascular diseases. It is also used to reduce the risk of stroke, myocardial infarction, and arterial revascularization in high-risk groups with elevated high-sensitivity C-reactive protein. Thus, both ingredients improve cardiovascular health through management of blood pressure and cholesterol.
