Precautions

This medication can cause serious harm to the fetus if taken during pregnancy, particularly in the second and third trimesters; therefore, it should be discontinued immediately upon confirmation of pregnancy. Patients with reduced intravascular effective volume, for example those on diuretics, may experience hypotension when starting this medication, so caution is required. Patients with hypersensitivity to the ingredients of this medication, severe liver dysfunction, aortic stenosis, or in a state of shock should not use it. Dizziness may occur due to the blood pressure-lowering effect; therefore, activities requiring alertness, such as operating dangerous machinery or driving, should be avoided. This medication is not recommended for breastfeeding women, and its use in children under 18 years of age is not advised due to lack of established safety and efficacy. When used in combination with other antihypertensive medications, the effects can be intensified, so it is important to consult with a doctor or pharmacist and take it cautiously. If any abnormal symptoms or allergic reactions occur while taking this medication, consult with medical staff immediately, especially if symptoms of angioedema arise, as prompt treatment is necessary. In case of overdose, severe hypotension and heart problems may develop, so it is crucial to strictly adhere to the prescribed dosage and administration. This medication should be stored out of reach of children, and it is advisable not to transfer it to other containers.
