This medication is effective for inflammatory joint diseases such as chronic polyarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. It is also used to reduce pain, swelling, and inflammation occurring after trauma or surgery. Additionally, it can be used as an adjunct in the treatment of infections accompanied by inflammation, pain, and fever. Dosage and Administration

Adult dosage

As dexibuprofen, take 300 mg orally 2 to 4 times a day. However, do not exceed a total of 1,200 mg of dexibuprofen in one day.

This medication should be discussed with a doctor or pharmacist before use by individuals who regularly consume more than 3 alcoholic beverages daily, as it may increase the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding. This medication should not be combined with aspirin or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, as it increases the risk of side effects. During breastfeeding, this medication can transfer into breast milk and harm the baby; therefore, breastfeeding or the medication should be discontinued. Dizziness or fatigue may occur during use, so caution is needed when driving or operating machinery. Interactions

Drug interactions

This medication should not be taken with aspirin, other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, or high doses of methotrexate (15 mg/week or more) used in chemotherapy. Before use, consult regarding corticosteroids, alcohol, digoxin, phenytoin, probenecid, sulfinpyrazone, sulfonylureas, ACE inhibitors, angiotensin II receptor antagonists, diuretics, lithium, anticoagulants (such as warfarin), baclofen, immunosuppressants.
