Treatment for peripheral arterial circulation disorders (intermittent claudication) and organic brain function disorders (tinnitus, dizziness, etc.)
This medicine is used for the treatment of intermittent claudication caused by peripheral arterial circulation disorders. It also helps alleviate symptoms such as dizziness and vascular and degenerative tinnitus. Additionally, it is effective in treating organic brain function disorders accompanied by dementia symptoms, such as tinnitus, headaches, memory decline, concentration difficulties, depression, and dizziness. Overall, it improves related symptoms by enhancing blood circulation and brain function.
Peripheral arterial circulation disorders, dizziness, tinnitus: administer Ginkgo Leaf Extract 40mg orally three times a day or 80mg orally twice a day. Organic brain function disorders: administer Ginkgo Leaf Extract 40-80mg orally three times a day or 120mg orally twice a day. Adjust dosage appropriately based on age and symptoms.
This medication should not be taken by individuals with specific allergic reactions. It is not to be used in children under 12 years of age, as safety has not been sufficiently confirmed. Pregnant women should consult a doctor before taking this medication, as its safety is not established. Patients with a genetic condition that prevents lactose digestion should not take this medication. Patients with bleeding disorders or taking blood-thinning medications should consult a healthcare professional before using this medication. Lactating women should consult a healthcare professional as it is unclear whether this medication is passed into breast milk. Patients scheduled for surgery should discontinue this medication and consult a doctor. If symptoms do not improve or worsen after taking for more than 3 months, consult a healthcare professional immediately and discontinue use. This medication may occasionally cause gastrointestinal discomfort, headaches, or allergic skin reactions, so it should be discontinued if unusual symptoms occur. Symptoms such as dizziness or itching can occur rarely, so caution is advised. Severe allergic reactions like anaphylaxis have been reported, so if sudden symptoms occur, visit a medical facility immediately. This medication is not a treatment for high blood pressure; therefore, patients requiring blood pressure control should use another appropriate medication. Keep out of reach of children in a safe location, and store away from direct sunlight in a cool, dry place.
