Adult dose
For oral use. Use in adult men The recommended dose of this medicine is 10mg, taken before anticipated sexual activity, regardless of meals. Patients in whom tadalafil (tadalafil) 10mg does not provide an adequate effect may try 20 mg. This medicine may be taken at least 30 minutes before sexual activity. The maximum recommended frequency of administration is once daily. Long-term safety following prolonged daily dosing has not been established, and because the effect of this medicine usually lasts for more than one day, continuous daily administration is strongly discouraged. [See section 1. Warnings and section 11.1) Pharmacodynamic Properties.] Use in elderly men No dosage adjustments are required in elderly patients. Use in men with renal impairment No dosage adjustment is required in patients with mild to moderate renal impairment. The maximum recommended dose for patients with severe renal impairment is 10mg. [See section 11.2) Pharmacokinetic Properties.] Use in men with hepatic impairment The recommended dose of this product is 10mg, taken before anticipated sexual activity, regardless of meals. Since clinical data on the safety of this product in patients with severe hepatic impairment (Child-Pugh Class C) are limited, the physician should carefully assess the benefit/risk for each patient if prescribing it. Use with caution in the following patients and section 11.2) Pharmacokinetic Properties.] Use in men with diabetes No dosage adjustment is required in patients with diabetes.

Precautions

This medication is used for the treatment of erectile dysfunction. Before administration, it is essential to undergo a doctor's diagnosis and physical examination, especially if there is a history of cardiovascular disease. It may put stress on the heart during sexual activity, so it should be used only after thoroughly evaluating cardiovascular condition. If an erection lasts more than 4 hours, seek immediate medical attention, as untreated prolonged erections can lead to penile tissue damage and permanent loss of erectile function. Do not take with nitrate preparations or NO donors, as it can cause dangerously low blood pressure. Patients with recent cardiovascular disease, uncontrolled blood pressure, arrhythmia, or stroke should not take this medication. It should also not be administered to those with genetic retinal disorders or hypersensitivity to this medication. Using with other erectile dysfunction treatments is not recommended due to unestablished safety. Patients with severe kidney or liver impairment, or those on certain blood pressure medications, should take this under medical advice. This medication may cause side effects such as headaches, dyspepsia, back pain, muscle pain, facial flushing, and others, the majority being mild to moderate. Serious cardiovascular adverse reactions, loss of vision or hearing have been reported infrequently; therefore, consult medical personnel if any unusual symptoms occur. Caution is advised when taking with alcohol, as it can lead to low blood pressure or dizziness. It should not be used by pregnant or nursing women or children. In case of overdose, seek immediate medical attention; blood dialysis may not effectively remove the drug. Store this medication out of the reach of children and maintain the original packaging. It does not significantly affect driving or the operation of machinery, but it is safe to check your reaction post-administration.
