Precautions

This medication is used for the treatment of erectile dysfunction and must only be used after a doctor's diagnosis and physical examination. Sexual activity can put strain on the heart, so caution is especially necessary for those with cardiovascular diseases. If an erection lasts longer than 4 hours, seek medical attention immediately, as untreated prolonged erections may lead to damage to the penile tissue and loss of erectile function. Never use this medication in conjunction with nitrates or nitric oxide donors, as this may cause dangerously low blood pressure. Patients with significant cardiovascular conditions such as myocardial infarction, stroke, or unstable angina should not use this drug. Patients with hereditary retinal diseases or specific allergies should also avoid this medication. It is not recommended to use this drug with other erectile dysfunction treatments, as safety has not been established. Patients with severe kidney or liver impairment must use this drug cautiously, and symptoms of hypotension may occur when combined with certain antihypertensives. This medication may have side effects such as headaches, dyspepsia, back pain, muscle pain, flushing, and limb pain, and rare but serious cardiovascular side effects or abnormalities in vision and hearing have been reported. If sudden vision loss or hearing decrease occurs during use, stop the medication immediately and seek medical attention. Caution is advised when taking it with alcohol due to increased blood pressure-lowering effects. In cases of overdose, standard emergency treatment should be received, and dialysis is not effective. Keep out of reach of children and it is recommended to store it in its original packaging. It does not have a significant impact on driving or machine operation, but it is safe to check individual reactions.
