Precautions

This medication should not be used by patients with a genetic disorder that prevents lactose digestion since it contains lactose. Patients with thrombosis or consumptive coagulopathy, or those with severe problems related to the liver, kidneys, heart, lungs, or blood should exercise caution while using this drug. Patients with drug allergies or a history of such allergies should also be administered this medication carefully. While taking this medication, gastrointestinal side effects such as nausea, loss of appetite, diarrhea, vomiting, heartburn, and upper abdominal pain may occur. Dizziness or headaches may rarely occur in the central nervous system, and skin reactions such as rash or itching may also develop. In relation to liver function, an increase in liver enzyme levels has been reported, so liver health should be monitored. When taken with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, gastrointestinal symptoms such as abdominal bloating, dyspepsia, constipation, and gastroesophageal reflux may occur more frequently. This medication has been experienced for use in acute or chronic gastritis patients for a maximum of 2 weeks, but if symptoms do not improve after 2 weeks, consultation with a physician or pharmacist is recommended. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should use this medication only when the benefits of treatment outweigh the risks, as its safety has not been established. Lactating women should also use this medication cautiously as it is not known if it is passed into breast milk. This medication may affect blood test results, so monitoring liver function tests or changes in blood levels is necessary. When storing, keep it out of reach of children, avoid direct sunlight, and store in a cool, dry place. Additionally, transferring it to another container may not be good for maintaining quality, so caution is advised.
