Beazal Tablet 5/50 mg

Adult dose

The recommended dosage of this medication is 1 tablet once a day, taken with water regardless of meals. It is recommended to take it at the same time every day (e.g., in the morning). Typically, this medication, 5/50 mg, is administered once daily, and if blood pressure is not adequately controlled after 2 weeks of administration, it may be increased to 10/50 mg once daily.

Child dose

Safety and efficacy have not been established for pediatric patients under 18 years of age, so the use of this medication is not recommended.

This medication can cause serious harm to the fetus if taken during pregnancy, especially in the second and third trimesters, so it should be discontinued immediately if pregnancy is confirmed. Taking this medication during pregnancy may result in severe side effects such as hypotension and renal failure in newborns. It is safer for women with the possibility of pregnancy to avoid using this medication, and those who are breastfeeding should also refrain from taking it. Patients with low blood volume or those on diuretics should be cautious as their blood pressure may drop too low when starting this medication. Patients allergic to any of the components in this medication, or those with severe liver or heart dysfunction, should not take it. Symptoms such as dizziness or drowsiness may occur during the treatment of hypertension; therefore, driving and operating dangerous machinery should be avoided. The effect of this medication may be enhanced when taken with other antihypertensives, so it should be taken under medical advice. Overdosage may lead to severe hypotension or cardiac issues, so the prescribed dosage must be strictly followed. While taking this medication, side effects such as dizziness, headache, swelling, dyspepsia, and skin rash may occur, and a doctor should be consulted if symptoms are severe. Special care should be taken when using this medication in patients with decreased kidney function or hyperkalemia, as blood potassium levels should be closely monitored. Pregnant or lactating women, children and the elderly must take this medication with special caution and consult sufficiently with healthcare professionals before use.

Hives, severe swelling (edema), chest tightness, difficulty breathing, cold sweat, pallor, severe rash with fever, blisters, skin peeling, pain in mouth/eye mucosa, difficulty breathing or shortness of breath, asthma attacks, respiratory distress accompanied by cough and fever, jaundice (yellowing of skin or eyes), severe lethargy, sudden and severe headache, thunderclap headache, seizures, confusion, visual disturbances, paralysis, urinary changes
