Improvement of epithelial damage of the conjunctiva (endogenous and exogenous)
This medication is used to treat epithelial damage of the conjunctiva caused by endogenous diseases such as Sjögren's syndrome and Stevens-Johnson syndrome, as well as conditions like dry eye syndrome. It is also effective for epithelial damage due to exogenous causes such as postoperative recovery, drug side effects, trauma, and contact lens wear. Therefore, it helps improve epithelial damage of the conjunctiva caused by various factors.
1 drop per application, 5-6 times a day. Adjust according to symptoms.
This medication contains sodium hyaluronate and is used to alleviate dryness of the eyes. This medication should not be used by individuals allergic to protein-based medications or any of the components of this drug. While using the medication, symptoms such as eyelid itching, eye irritation, redness, conjunctivitis, and corneal inflammation may occur; if these symptoms occur, discontinue use and consult a physician. Rarely, symptoms such as eye discharge or eye pain may occur, so administration should be immediately discontinued if any unusual symptoms arise. Care should be taken when using this medication in combination with other eye drops such as steroids, dry eye treatments, antibiotics, glaucoma treatments, antihistamines, cataract treatments, and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, as side effects may be more frequently observed. This medication contains phosphates, and patients with severe corneal damage should use it cautiously as rare side effects such as corneal calcification may occur. When using this medication simultaneously with other eye drops, the effectiveness may decrease, so it is advised to use other eye drops first and wait about 30 minutes before using this medication. This medication is intended for use in the eyes only; care should be taken to prevent the tip of the container from coming into contact with the eyelids or eyelashes. For single-use products, the first 1-2 drops should be discarded without instilling them into the eye, and any remaining solution should be disposed of immediately after use. Care should be taken to prevent contamination by ensuring that multiple people do not use it together. This medication should be stored out of the reach of children, away from direct sunlight, and in a cool place. To maintain quality, it is important not to transfer it to another container.
