Adult dose

The recommended dose of this medicine is 1 capsule (0.5mg) once daily. Because exposure to the capsule contents may cause irritation of the oropharyngeal mucosa, swallow this medicine whole without chewing or splitting it. This medicine may be taken regardless of meals. No dose adjustment is required in patients with renal impairment or elderly patients. Because there are no data on administration of this medicine to patients with hepatic impairment, the recommended dose in patients with hepatic impairment has not been established.

This medication can be absorbed through the skin, so women who are pregnant or may become pregnant must not touch or take this medication. If this medicine comes into contact with the skin, it should be washed off immediately with clean water and soap. This medication is not to be used in children under 18 years of age, and care should be taken to ensure that children do not come into contact with this medication. This medication is not administered to patients with specific allergic reactions or women. Adult men planning to conceive should use this medication cautiously as it may affect fertility and must consult their doctor before use. Caution is needed when administering this medication to patients with impaired liver function, and care should be taken when taken with strong CYP3A4 enzyme inhibitors as drug concentrations may change. During the use of this medication, side effects related to sexual function such as erectile dysfunction, decreased libido, and ejaculation disorders may occur, and these symptoms may persist even after discontinuation of the medication. Long-term use may result in breast-related adverse reactions such as breast tenderness or breast enlargement, so inform your doctor if any symptoms occur. This medication may increase the risk of prostate cancer, thus regular monitoring of prostate health status should be done through prostate-specific antigen (PSA) testing during use. Blood donation should be avoided while taking this medication, and at least 6 months should pass after the last dose before donating blood. In case of overdose, there are no specific antidotes, so inform medical personnel immediately to receive appropriate treatment. This medication should be stored out of reach of children and kept in its original container for safety. Although this medication is known not to affect driving or operating machinery, caution is advised if any unusual symptoms occur after ingestion.
