Adult dose

Administer 60 mg per dose of Artemisia asiatica 95% ethanol soft extract orally 3 times daily.

This medication contains lactose and should not be used by patients with genetic disorders that result in lactose intolerance. Patients with thromboembolic disorders or blood coagulation problems and those with severe impairments in major organs such as the liver, kidneys, heart, or lungs should use this medication cautiously. Patients with drug allergies or a history of allergies should also be careful when taking this medication, particularly if allergic to the yellow pigment No. 4 contained in this drug. Side effects such as nausea, appetite loss, diarrhea, vomiting, heartburn, abdominal pain, dizziness, headache, rash, itching, liver function abnormalities, abdominal distention, lower abdominal pain, constipation, indigestion, belching, gastroesophageal reflux, hunger, insomnia, urinary difficulties, nasopharyngitis, increased blood LDH, increased bilirubin levels, increased appetite, facial swelling, upper abdominal pain, and abdominal pain may occur, so consult a healthcare professional immediately if symptoms worsen. Particularly when taken with NSAIDs, there may be an increased risk of side effects such as abdominal distention, heartburn, nausea, diarrhea, and liver function abnormalities, so caution is advised. This drug has not been sufficiently studied in patients with peptic ulcers or gastroesophageal reflux disease, and those who have undergone gastric resection should use it carefully.
