Precautions

This medication should not be used by individuals who have experienced allergic reactions to this drug or any of its ingredients. It is also safer for women who are pregnant or could become pregnant and for breastfeeding women to avoid using this medication. Additionally, it is advisable for children not to use this medication. This product contains an ingredient called propylene glycol; thus, individuals with allergies or hypersensitivity to this ingredient must consult a doctor or pharmacist before use. If a rash develops, or if irritation worsens, or if symptoms such as hives, redness, itching, skin inflammation, skin peeling, scabbing, discoloration, stinging pain, or burning sensation occur during use, discontinue use immediately and consult an expert. It is recommended not to use occlusive dressings or wrapping unless directed by a doctor. If symptoms do not improve with this medication, check for the presence of a fungal infection and seek other treatment options. If a Candida infection is present, avoid using acidic soap. Although the likelihood of systemic effects is low if the skin is intact, caution should be exercised in cases of broken skin, in extensive use, or when applying to infants, as systemic effects may occur. If this medication is accidentally ingested, remove the active ingredient first using adsorbents and seek symptomatic treatment if necessary. This medication is meant for topical use only and should not come into contact with the eyes. If it does, it can cause irritation and, rarely, worsen an existing fungal infection in the eye, so it should be rinsed immediately with plenty of water. It is safer not to apply in areas such as the nails, scalp, around the mouth, and the vaginal area. Animal studies have reported that this medication might cause mild photosensitivity, so it is advisable to be cautious of light exposure. This medication should be stored out of reach of children and kept in the original container, tightly closed. Transferring to another container may deteriorate the quality of the medication or pose risks of misuse.
