How to take

Adult dose

Typically, 1 capsule for adults, taken orally 3 times a day after meals.

Precautions

This medication should not be used in patients with complete bile duct obstruction. Additionally, it contains lactose, so it should not be administered to patients with hereditary galactose intolerance, Lapp lactase deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption. Caution is necessary when using this drug in patients with chronic active hepatitis, cirrhosis, hypokalemia, severe pancreatic disease, or peptic ulcers. Gastrointestinal symptoms such as diarrhea, nausea, and vomiting may occur while taking this medication, and rarely abdominal pain, constipation, heartburn, or discomfort in the upper abdomen may arise. Allergic reactions such as itching or rash may occur, and occasionally skin rashes can develop; however, they usually resolve with the use of antihistamines. Transient jaundice may occur; in this case, discontinuing the medication or using anti-jaundice drugs can improve the symptoms. Additionally, rarely systemic lethargy or dizziness may occur, so caution should be taken. It is important to store this medication out of reach of children.
