This medication helps improve gastric mucosal lesions caused by acute and chronic gastritis, including erosion, bleeding, redness, and swelling. It also has a preventive effect against gastritis that can occur due to long-term use of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). Therefore, it is effective in protecting the gastric mucosa and alleviating gastritis symptoms.

Precautions

This medication contains lactose and should not be used by individuals with genetically determined galactose intolerance, lactose enzyme deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption. Those with allergies or hypersensitivity to soybean oil, soy, peanuts, etc. should also avoid taking this medication. Individuals with thromboembolic diseases or consumptive coagulopathy should use this medication cautiously, and caution is also necessary for those with serious issues related to the liver, kidneys, heart, lungs, or blood. Patients who have previously experienced allergic symptoms to medications, as well as those with hyperlipidemia, diabetic dyslipidemia, pancreatitis, or other lipid metabolism disorders should also take this medication with caution. Taking this medication may result in gastrointestinal symptoms such as nausea, loss of appetite, diarrhea, vomiting, heartburn, and abdominal pain, and dizziness, headaches, rashes, itching, and liver function abnormalities have also been rarely reported. When used in conjunction with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, symptoms such as abdominal bloating, upper abdominal pain, heartburn, nausea, and diarrhea can frequently occur. This medication should be used with caution in patients with peptic ulcers or gastroesophageal reflux disease, as there is insufficient research on its use in patients who have undergone gastric resection. If no improvement in symptoms occurs after taking this medication for more than 2 weeks, consulting a doctor or pharmacist is essential. Patients at risk of fat overload should regularly check their blood lipid levels and adjust the medication dosage as necessary. Studies on interactions between this medication and other drugs have not been conducted yet. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should only use this medication when the benefits outweigh the risks, and nursing mothers should also use it cautiously. Taking this medication may cause fluctuations in liver enzyme levels or blood test results, necessitating regular check-ups. This medication should be stored out of the reach of children, protected from direct sunlight, and kept in a cool, dry place. Additionally, transferring the medication to another container may not be good for maintaining its quality, so caution should be exercised.
