Chronic persistent hepatitis with continuously elevated SGPT levels refers to a condition where liver cell damage and inflammation persist. This medication is used to improve liver function, alleviate inflammation, and prevent damage to liver tissue.

How to take

Adult dose

Typically, 1 capsule per dose for adults, taken 3 times a day after meals.

Precautions

This medication should not be used by patients with complete biliary obstruction. Additionally, patients with genetic issues such as galactose intolerance, Lapp lactase deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption should not take this medication, as it contains lactose. This medication should be used with caution in patients with chronic active hepatitis, liver cirrhosis, hypokalemia, severe pancreatic disease, peptic ulcers, and cholelithiasis. During use, gastrointestinal symptoms such as diarrhea, nausea, and vomiting may occur occasionally, and rarely, abdominal pain, constipation, heartburn, or discomfort in the upper abdomen may also occur. Hypersensitivity reactions such as itching or rashes may appear, and sometimes skin rashes may develop, but symptoms typically resolve when antihistamines are used in conjunction. Transient jaundice may occur; in such cases, it is necessary to either discontinue the medication or use jaundice treatment agents. Occasional general malaise or dizziness may also be experienced. If symptoms do not improve or unusual symptoms appear after prolonged use of this medication, it is essential to consult a doctor or pharmacist. Keep out of the reach of children and in a safe place. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant are advised not to take this medication, as it may harm the fetus. Additionally, caution is necessary, as taking this medication together with oral antidiabetic drugs may intensify the effects of the diabetes medication.
