This medication is used to treat degenerative joint diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, tendinitis, acute gout, and dysmenorrhea. It is also effective for bursitis, skeletal muscle disorders (sprains, strains, trauma, low back pain), postoperative pain, migraine, and pain after tooth extraction. Overall, it helps relieve inflammation and pain in various joints and muscles, making daily life more comfortable.

How to take

Adult dose

1. Rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis Administer Naproxen 250-500 mg orally, twice a day (every 12 hours). 2. Acute gout Administer 750 mg orally as a loading dose, then 250 mg orally every 8 hours until the attack subsides. 3. Skeletal muscle disorders, postoperative pain, pain after tooth extraction, dysmenorrhea, tendinitis, bursitis Administer 500 mg orally as an initial dose, followed by 250 mg every 6-8 hours.

Individuals with a history of peptic ulcer, severe blood disorders, liver impairment, heart failure, kidney issues, or severe hypertension should not take this medication. Those allergic to this medication or similar compounds, or have had allergic reactions such as asthma, rhinitis, or hives due to aspirin should also avoid it. Patients with a history of peptic ulcers or bleeding tendencies, poor liver or kidney function, and those with hypertension or heart dysfunction should take this medication with caution. This medication can rarely cause allergic reactions, gastrointestinal bleeding, liver dysfunction, kidney issues, skin rashes, headaches, dizziness, and other diverse side effects, so it is essential to discontinue intake immediately and consult a doctor if any abnormal symptoms appear. Co-administration of this medication with other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs increases the risk of side effects, so it is advisable not to use them together. Additionally, this medication may interact with certain blood pressure medications, diuretics, anticoagulants, and antiepileptics; therefore, notify healthcare providers if you are taking such medications. During pregnancy, particularly in the later stages, this medication could harm the fetus, so consult a physician if pregnant. Interactions

Drug interactions

Do not take this medication with other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs or naproxen derivatives. It interacts with hydantoin anticonvulsants, sulfonamides, sulfonylureas, propranolol and other beta-blockers, ACE inhibitors (such as captopril), loop and thiazide diuretics, probenecid, aspirin, lithium, methotrexate, coumarin anticoagulants (such as warfarin), zidovudine, and quinolone antibiotics (such as enoxacin).
