Gradual whitening effect on excessive pigmentation (melasma, freckles, etc.)
This medication helps to gradually relieve skin discoloration caused by excessive pigmentation, such as melasma, chloasma (hyperpigmentation), freckles, and senile lentigines, making the skin bright and even. It is applied to areas with excessive melanin deposition to reduce pigmentation and improve skin tone. It is used to effectively manage pigmentation problems and enhance skin aesthetics.
As hydroquinone, apply 2% or 4% once or twice a day (morning, before bedtime) to the affected area (site of the condition).
This medication must be avoided from sun exposure. Even minimal sun exposure can continue to trigger melanin production in the skin, so sunscreen should be applied or protective clothing should be worn during and after use. Prolonged use of this medication has been reported to potentially cause cancer in animal studies, so it's advisable to adjust the duration of use according to therapeutic effectiveness and not to use it for long periods. People with allergies to this medication or a history of hypersensitivity, pregnant women or those who may become pregnant, children under 12 years of age, and patients with poor kidney function should not use this medication. Additionally, this medication contains certain ingredients that may induce allergic reactions or asthma attacks, so asthmatic patients should be particularly cautious. If abnormal reactions such as itching, blisters, or severe inflammation occur during use, you should stop using it immediately and consult a doctor or pharmacist. When using it for the first time, apply only a small amount to the skin and check for reactions for 24 hours; if severe skin reactions are absent, it can be used. If symptoms do not improve after about two months of use, you should discontinue use. This medication is used only for skin depigmentation and is not intended for sun protection or sunburn prevention. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should use this medication cautiously or not at all, and children under 12 years of age should not use it, as safety and effectiveness have not been established. Excessive use may cause redness or burning of the skin, so it is advisable to limit the area of application to within 10% of the total skin area. This medication is for external use only and should be kept away from the eyes or mucous membranes. Keep out of reach of children, and avoid transferring it to other containers as it can pose a risk of accidents and quality deterioration. Finally, prolonged use of this medication may rarely cause tissue hyperpigmentation or other skin abnormalities, so caution is needed with long-term use.
Severe allergic reactions (anaphylaxis, history of allergic reactions), asthma attacks
Not everyone experiences these, and they can vary from person to person.
This medication should be stored in a container that does not allow light and air to permeate, preferably in a dry, cool place at a temperature below 30 degrees Celsius. This storage condition helps to maintain the effectiveness and stability of the medication's ingredients.
