Precautions

This medication is for the treatment of erectile dysfunction, and it is essential to confirm the cause through a doctor's evaluation and physical examination before use. Patients with heart conditions or unstable cardiovascular conditions must consult a physician prior to taking this medication, and if symptoms related to the heart occur during sexual activity, they should stop immediately and inform a doctor. If an erection lasts more than 4 hours, immediate medical help should be sought, as untreated cases could lead to penile tissue damage or permanent erectile dysfunction. While taking this medication or after, one must avoid using nitrates or NO donors, as this could lead to dangerously low blood pressure. Patients who have recently experienced serious cardiovascular diseases such as myocardial infarction, angina, or stroke should not take this medication, and caution is needed if there are cardiovascular risk factors. Since this medication can affect sperm production, long-term use should be discussed with a physician. Patients with heart deformities such as left ventricular outflow obstruction may be sensitive to this medication, so it should be used with caution. This medication should never be administered to patients taking organic nitrates, nor should it be taken by those whose heart conditions discourage sexual activity. Patients with hereditary retinal diseases or allergies to this medication's components should also refrain from using it. Combining it with other erectile dysfunction treatments is not recommended as safety has not been confirmed. Patients with genetic issues such as lactose intolerance should not use this medication. This medication should be used cautiously in patients with penile deformities or certain blood conditions, and those with significantly reduced kidney or liver function should also be monitored closely. When combined with alpha-blockers or certain antifungals, antivirals, etc., the drug concentration may increase or lead to lowered blood pressure; thus, it should be taken according to a doctor's instructions. Taking it with alcohol may cause symptoms like lowered blood pressure or dizziness, so caution is advised. This medication is not intended for women, children, or newborns, and safety during pregnancy has not been established. While it does not significantly impair driving or machine operation, dizziness may occur in some individuals, so caution is advised. In case of overdose, seek immediate medical attention, and blood dialysis does not significantly affect the elimination of this medication. This medication should be kept out of reach of children and stored in its original packaging.
