Precautions

This medication may pose a risk of gastrointestinal bleeding in individuals who regularly consume more than three glasses of alcohol daily, so consultation with a doctor or pharmacist is required. It may increase the risk of cardiovascular thrombotic events, myocardial infarction, and stroke, thus it should be used at the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration. Serious gastrointestinal adverse reactions such as perforation, ulcer, or bleeding may occur, so special caution is needed for the elderly or those with a history of gastrointestinal diseases. This medication should not be administered to patients with certain allergies or diseases, pregnant or breastfeeding women, or patients with severely impaired heart or kidney function. Patients with impaired liver or kidney function or a history of cardiovascular disease, hypertension, or asthma should be closely monitored and managed when using this medication. During treatment, symptoms such as dyspepsia, abdominal pain, headache, dizziness, skin rash, edema, and dyspnea may occur; if these symptoms arise, immediate consultation with healthcare professionals is advised. This medication is metabolized in the liver and may interact with other drugs, particularly those that inhibit or induce the liver metabolic enzyme CYP2C9, necessitating dose adjustments. Women who are pregnant or planning to become pregnant should avoid taking this medication, and if pregnancy is confirmed during treatment, it should be discontinued immediately. The elderly may have a higher risk of declining kidney, liver, and heart functions and require careful monitoring of dosage based on weight and condition. Dizziness or drowsiness may occur, so it is advisable to avoid driving or operating machinery. This medication does not affect platelet function and cannot replace aspirin for thrombus prevention, and there may be an increased risk of bleeding when taken with anticoagulants. Regular blood tests and monitoring of liver and kidney function are critical to check for abnormalities. In cases of overdose, symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, lethargy, and gastrointestinal bleeding may appear, requiring immediate medical attention. This medication should be kept out of reach of children, and transferring it to another container may cause degradation of quality or accidents.
