This medication is used for inflammatory joint diseases such as chronic polyarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis. It also helps alleviate painful swelling and inflammation following trauma or surgery. Additionally, it assists in treating infections accompanied by inflammation, pain, and fever. It is used effectively to improve various symptoms related to inflammation and pain.

How to take

Adult dose

Administer 300 mg as dexibuprofen orally 2 to 4 times a day. However, do not exceed 1,200 mg per day as dexibuprofen.

Precautions

Individuals who regularly consume more than 3 alcoholic drinks per day should consult with a physician or pharmacist before taking this medication, as it may cause gastrointestinal bleeding. This drug can affect the cardiovascular system, increasing the risk of myocardial infarction and stroke. Patients with cardiovascular diseases or risk factors should take extra caution and consult a doctor if symptoms occur. This medication can cause serious adverse reactions such as gastrointestinal bleeding, ulcers, or perforations. Interactions

Drug interactions

Do not take this medication with aspirin, other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, or high-dose methotrexate used in cancer therapy. Also avoid using corticosteroids, alcohol, digoxin, phenytoin, probenecid, sulfinpyrazone, sulfonylureas, ACE inhibitors, angiotensin II receptor antagonists, diuretics, lithium, coumarin anticoagulants, baclofen, immunosuppressants, thrombolytics, ticlopidine, and antithrombotic agents.
