This medication is used in conjunction with dietary therapy to lower elevated triglyceride levels in patients with hypertriglyceridemia (Type IV). Additionally, it enhances treatment effects when combined with statin medications in patients with hypercholesterolemia and combined hypertriglyceridemia (Type IIb). In particular, it is used in combination therapy for patients whose triglyceride levels are not controlled, to efficiently manage blood lipid levels. This drug helps improve blood triglyceride and cholesterol levels through monotherapy or combination therapy. Therefore, it is effectively used in the treatment of dyslipidemia and related diseases.
