Precautions

This medication is a steroid cream for topical use, and should not be used in patients with certain infections. It should be avoided in cases of bacterial, fungal, viral, or animal-inflicted skin infections, as the symptoms may worsen. Individuals allergic to this medication or its ingredients are prohibited from use. People with perforated eardrums or those suffering from ulcers, severe burns, or frostbite should also avoid using it. It is also safest for patients with acne, perioral dermatitis, or genital itch not to use this medication. It should not be used in children under 2 years of age. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant and breastfeeding females should use this medication cautiously, and infants and the elderly also require attention. When using this medication, there is a possibility of developing a skin infection; hence, it must be discontinued immediately if any infection symptoms appear. Long-term or widespread use might result in systemic side effects, so regular examinations are necessary. Caution is advised when used around the eyes, as it may increase intraocular pressure or the risk of glaucoma. If any side effects such as skin irritation, rash, itching, or dryness occur, stop using the medication and consult a doctor. During pregnancy or lactation, the use of this medication may affect the fetus or baby, so it is essential to consult healthcare professionals. Children and the elderly have sensitive skin, requiring extra caution when using this medication. This medication should not be used for ophthalmic purposes and should not be used for purposes other than treatment such as after makeup or shaving. When using the occlusive dressing method, the risk of infection increases; thus, it must be used under a doctor's guidance. After use, store it out of children's reach. Long-term safety studies for this medication have not been sufficiently conducted, so it is important to use it appropriately according to a doctor's instructions.
