Relief of acute non-infectious conjunctivitis (edema, congestion) and anterior segment inflammation (such as anterior uveitis), and inflammation relief after surgery
This medication is used to treat acute non-infectious conjunctivitis accompanied by severe edema and congestion, allergic keratitis, and non-infectious inflammation of the anterior segment including anterior uveitis, episcleritis, and scleritis. It is also effective in alleviating inflammation that may occur after strabismus surgery, cataract, and glaucoma surgery. It is used to treat various inflammatory diseases of the eye, improving the symptoms.
Instill 1 drop 2-3 times a day into the conjunctival sac. In adults, during the first 24-48 hours, instillation can be done every hour with 1 drop.
This medicine should not be used by those who are allergic to certain ingredients. It is advisable that women who are pregnant or breastfeeding do not use this medicine. Patients with infections in the eye, especially those with infectious keratitis or conjunctivitis, should not use this medication. Those with glaucoma or dry eye, particularly patients with Sjögren's syndrome, should avoid usage. This medication should not be used in cases of corneal damage or ulceration, viral, bacterial, or fungal infections. It is safer not to use this medicine in children under 2 years of age. This drug should be used cautiously in patients with cardiovascular diseases, hypertension, hyperthyroidism, or diabetes mellitus. Particular caution is needed for those taking specific medications, or those with a history of cataracts or herpes virus infection. Extra care should be taken when using in individuals with allergic rhinitis or in children and infants. It may cause temporary eye irritation symptoms upon application. Long-term use can increase intraocular pressure, so regular intraocular pressure checks are necessary. Additionally, allergic reactions such as eye congestion or dermatitis may occur rarely. Be mindful of the risk of cataracts, corneal damage, and infections around the eyes with prolonged use. Avoid wearing contact lenses during treatment, and if used for more than 2-3 days, regular check-ups are necessary. This medication can mask or worsen symptoms of eye infections, so consult a doctor immediately if infection symptoms develop. After instillation, vision may become blurred, so driving or operating hazardous machinery should be avoided. If there is a risk of infection from chickenpox or measles, check the medical history and vaccination status before using this medication. This medication may interact with some drugs, so it is recommended to avoid co-administration with those that may increase blood pressure or certain antidepressants. Co-administration with CYP3A4 enzyme inhibitors may increase the risk of side effects, so consult a doctor. Use in children should be done with caution due to the risk of systemic side effects. In case of overdose, it may affect the heart or central nervous system, so if an overdose is suspected, seek medical attention immediately. Before use, shake the medication well and be careful not to allow the tip of the bottle to touch the eye. For hygiene reasons, single-use products should be used immediately after opening, and any remaining medication should be discarded. Store in a tightly sealed container out of the reach of children, avoiding direct sunlight and keeping in a cool, dry place to maintain the quality of the medication.
Allergic reactions in the form of eyelid dermatitis (possible severe swelling), cataracts and corneal defects, secondary infections due to fungi, ocular perforation, mydriasis, severe allergic reactions, headache, and insomnia (systemic side effects).
Transient mild irritation symptoms immediately after application, increased intraocular pressure with long-term use, reactive hyperemia, allergic reactions in the form of eyelid dermatitis, punctate keratitis, periorbital dermatitis, cataracts, and corneal defects due to prolonged use of corticosteroids, secondary infections due to fungi, delayed wound healing, mydriasis, psoriasis, exophthalmos, nutritional corneal damage, posterior capsule cataract, corneal thinning, ocular perforation, headache, insomnia, transient visual disturbances.

This medicine may be sensitive to air or moisture, so it must be stored in a sealed container. The recommended storage temperature is between 15 and 25 degrees Celsius. This helps ensure the medication's effectiveness is maintained safely for a long time.
