This medication is used for the treatment of Alzheimer's type dementia symptoms. It helps alleviate symptoms such as memory decline and cognitive dysfunction, thereby improving the patient's ability to carry out daily activities.

After evaluating the clinical response during this period, the dose may be increased up to 10 mg. When increasing to 10 mg daily, ensure attention is paid to gastrointestinal adverse reactions. Underweight women aged 85 and over should take no more than 5 mg daily.
Pediatric: There is no experience with use in children.

This medication is only to be used for the treatment of Alzheimer's disease and not for other types of dementia or memory disorders. Treatment should be carried out under the diagnosis and supervision of a specialist, and if no therapeutic effect is observed, discontinuation should be considered.
