Lidocaine Cream (Lidocaine)

Adult dosage

Apply 0.25 to 0.66 grams (23 to 62 milligrams of lidocaine) as an ointment 5 to 15 minutes before intercourse. The dosage and application time should be based on individual circumstances, using the minimum effective amount. Do not exceed 2 grams (184 milligrams of lidocaine) within a 24-hour period.

This medicine is an amide-type local anesthetic and should not be used if you or your partner have an allergic reaction to this medicine or similar drugs. Also, this medicine should not be applied to areas with wounds or inflammation on the skin. It is recommended to avoid using this medicine during pregnancy. Patients with liver or kidney disorders should exercise caution when using this medicine. This medicine contains an ingredient called propylene glycol, so individuals who have an allergy or a history of hypersensitivity reactions to this ingredient should use it carefully. If a rash or irritation occurs on the skin during use, discontinue use immediately, and consult a doctor if symptoms persist. Prolonged use without a doctor's instruction for more than 3 months should be avoided. This medicine is for external use only on the skin and care should be taken to avoid contact with the eyes or nose. It is not advisable to apply it repeatedly to the same area. Keep it in a safe place out of reach of children or infants, and avoid storing it in high temperatures above 40 degrees, too cold places, or areas exposed to direct sunlight. Unused medication should not be burned but disposed of properly.

This medicine may be sensitive to air or moisture, so it should be stored in a sealed container. It is recommended to maintain a storage temperature between 1 degree and 30 degrees at room temperature.
