How to take

Adult dose

For individuals aged 16 and older, take 1 tablet (10mg) once, up to 2 tablets (20mg) per day.

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by individuals allergic to specific components or those with hypersensitivity to H2 receptor antagonists. Also, since this medication contains lactose, people with genetic issues such as galactose intolerance, lactase deficiency, and glucose-galactose malabsorption should not take this medication. If you have difficulty swallowing, experience pain, or have hematemesis or bloody stools, consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. If heartburn symptoms persist for more than 3 months, or if dizziness, drowsiness, or cold sweat occurs, you should also consult a specialist. Individuals experiencing chest or shoulder pain with difficulty breathing or frequent chest pain should consult before taking. Consult a physician if there are symptoms such as unintended weight loss, nausea, vomiting, or stomach pain. Caution is also required for those taking non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs or with a history of drug allergies. Individuals with kidney or liver function issues, heart disease, older adults, and pregnant or nursing women should definitely consult a specialist before taking. If you are taking certain antifungal drugs or chemotherapeutics that may reduce the effect of this medication, caution is also needed. Do not take this medication for more than 14 days, and if symptoms persist or worsen, stop taking immediately and consult a specialist. Various side effects such as allergic reactions, blood disorders, skin rashes, liver function abnormalities, myalgia, heart issues, neurological symptoms, gastrointestinal problems, kidney issues, and respiratory abnormalities may occur. If any of these symptoms occur, stop taking the medication immediately and consult a physician. This medication may mask the symptoms of stomach cancer; therefore, it should only be used temporarily for symptom relief, and should not be taken with alcoholic beverages. If there are changes in physical condition after taking, consult a specialist, and patients receiving dialysis should be cautious when using this medication in conjunction with phosphate binders.
