Relief of excessive sweating (armpits, hands, feet)
This medication is used to relieve excessive sweating occurring in the armpits, hands, and feet.
Apply an appropriate amount to the affected area in the evening and wash it off with water the next morning. Use once every night until sweating stops and reduce to 1-2 times a week if symptoms improve.
This medication should not be used by individuals who are allergic to this medication or any of its components. Do not apply to skin that has been shaved within the last 12 hours, or to any damaged or irritated skin. Also, avoid using hair removal products within 12 hours before or after using this medication. Care should be taken to prevent this medication from coming into contact with the eyes, nose, mouth, or other mucous membranes, and if contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with clean water immediately. Pregnant women must consult a physician before using this medication as reports indicate it may affect reproduction in animal studies. During breastfeeding, it is uncertain whether this medication passes into breast milk, so a consultation with a healthcare professional is advised before use, and care should be taken to prevent contact with the breast area. If contact with the breast area occurs, it should be washed off thoroughly before breastfeeding. The safety and efficacy in children under 12 years of age have not been established, so it is advisable to consult with a healthcare professional before use. If any adverse reactions such as skin irritation, itching, rash, or redness occur while using this medication, stop use immediately and consult a healthcare professional. Skin irritation or redness may worsen with decreased sweating, so if these symptoms intensify, the use should be stopped. Care should be taken as using this medication more frequently than recommended may increase skin irritation. If accidentally ingested, symptoms such as vomiting, diarrhea, and burning in the mouth and throat may occur, so rinse the mouth with plenty of water and follow a physician's instructions. This medication contains ethanol, and caution is needed as overdose may be absorbed systemically. Overuse can cause skin peeling or redness; in such cases, moisturizers or mild steroid creams may be used to alleviate symptoms. This medication can react with water and may irritate the skin, so the treatment area must be completely dry before application. Apply only to the treatment area, and be careful to avoid direct contact with clothing or metal accessories. Store in a container that can block light and air, and keep it in a cool place at or below 25 degrees. This way of storage helps maintain the medication's efficacy for a longer time.
Localized irritation, dermatitis at the application site, pain, itching, erythema, rash, burning sensation, redness, desquamation, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, burning sensation in the mouth and throat.
