This medication is used for epithelial disorders of the conjunctiva caused by endogenous factors such as Sjögren's syndrome, Stevens-Johnson syndrome, and dry eye syndrome. It is also effective for epithelial disorders of the conjunctiva caused by exogenous factors such as postoperative conditions, drug side effects, trauma, and contact lens wear. In other words, it helps improve damage to the cornea and conjunctiva that occurs due to various causes.

How to apply drops

Adult eye dose

Instill 1 drop 5-6 times a day. Adjust according to symptoms. Usually, a 0.1% preparation is administered, and if insufficient effect is observed in severe conditions, a 0.3% preparation may be used.

Precautions

This medication is an eye drop containing sodium hyaluronate, intended for use in the eyes. Do not use this medication in patients who are allergic to protein drugs or any of its ingredients. During use, eye-related side effects such as eyelid itchiness, eye irritation, conjunctivitis, redness, and corneal damage may occur. If there is severe pain or a sensation of foreign body in the eyes, immediately stop using and consult a physician. Additionally, hypersensitivity reactions such as eyelid inflammation or dermatitis may occur, so if these symptoms arise, stop using the medication and seek appropriate treatment. Be cautious when using this medication with steroids, dry eye treatments, antibiotics, glaucoma medications, antihistamines, cataract medications, and anti-inflammatory pain relievers, as side effects may be more pronounced. This medication contains phosphates, and in patients with severe corneal damage, calcification of the cornea may rarely occur, so caution is advised. Do not use this medication simultaneously with other eye drops. If they must be used together, administer one drop and wait about 30 minutes before using this medication. For ophthalmic use only, and take care to avoid contact of the tip of the container with eyelids or eyelashes. If the tip of the container comes into contact with the eye, the medication may become contaminated, so keep it clean and do not use if it is cloudy or contaminated. The preservative benzalkonium chloride contained in this medication can adhere to soft lenses, so do not use while wearing lenses and wait at least 15 minutes before reapplying lenses after administration. To prevent contamination of the medication, it is advisable not to share with others. Store this medication out of reach of children, away from direct sunlight, and in a cool place. Additionally, to maintain the quality of the medication, do not transfer it to other containers.
