This medication is provided as an ampoule injectable, and there is a risk of glass fragments mixing when cutting the container, so it must be cut very carefully. Special precautions are required, particularly when used by children or the elderly. This medication contains components extracted from human placenta, and while infection tests are conducted during placental collection and measures are taken to reduce infection risks during the manufacturing process, the risk of infection transmission cannot be completely eliminated. Therefore, this medication should only be used restrictively when absolutely necessary for treatment. Additionally, this medication contains benzyl alcohol, which can cause fatal respiratory problems in preterm infants, so it should not be used in newborns or premature infants. This medication must not be administered to patients who have hypersensitivity to this medication or other drugs, patients with significant complications other than the heart, liver, or kidneys, patients with psychogenic disorders, and newborns or premature infants. Extra caution is necessary when administering this medication to patients with allergic constitutions. If shock symptoms, chills, nausea, fever, skin rashes, or other hypersensitive reactions occur while using this medication, administration should be stopped immediately and appropriate treatment sought. Pain or redness may occur at the injection site, and rarely breast pain or gynecomastia may develop, necessitating discontinuation of use if these symptoms arise. Before using this medication, it is important to thoroughly explain to the patient that there is a risk of infection transmission due to placenta-derived components and to obtain their understanding. It should only be used for subcutaneous injection, selecting the injection site carefully to avoid areas where nerves pass. When injecting repeatedly, it is advisable to avoid the same site and alternate sides for injections. If severe pain occurs during injection or blood is aspirated, the needle should be removed immediately and injected at a different site.
