Improvement of blood pressure control in essential hypertension
This medication is used when blood pressure is not adequately controlled due to essential hypertension. It effectively lowers blood pressure with 'S-Amlodipine (Amlodipine) or Olmesartan medoxomil' monotherapy, helping to prevent cardiovascular complications. Continuous use can stabilize blood pressure control.
This medication should be taken once daily, one tablet at a time, with or without food. It is recommended to take it at the same time each day (e.g., in the morning). The recommended dosages are as follows: - 2.5/20 mg: Administered to patients whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled with S-Amlodipine 2.5 mg or Olmesartan medoxomil 20 mg as monotherapy. - 2.5/40 mg: Administered at 2.5/20 mg.
Safety and efficacy have not been established for pediatric patients under 18 years of age.
This medication can cause serious harm to the fetus and newborn if taken during pregnancy, especially in the second and third trimesters; therefore, it should never be used during pregnancy. If pregnancy is confirmed, discontinue use immediately and switch to another safe treatment. This medication is contraindicated in patients allergic to the active ingredients or related drugs, pregnant or breastfeeding women, patients with severe liver dysfunction, severe aortic stenosis, biliary obstruction, patients on dialysis, patients in shock, and certain diabetic patients. Patients with fluid or salt depletion may experience hypotension, so their condition should be closely monitored upon initial administration, and appropriate measures should be taken if hypotension occurs. Acute hypotension may rarely occur due to vasodilatory effects, necessitating caution in patients with aortic stenosis. Care should be taken when administering this medication to patients with severe heart disease, especially those with obstructive coronary artery disease or congestive heart failure. Patients with compromised kidney function may see worsening kidney function after taking this medication, so kidney function should be regularly monitored. Patients with liver dysfunction should also be monitored closely when taking this medication, and dosage adjustments may be necessary. During treatment, side effects such as dizziness, headache, hypotension, edema, gastrointestinal disturbances may arise, so patients should consult a physician if any abnormal symptoms occur. Older adults may have decreased kidney and liver function, so starting at a lower dosage and closely monitoring their condition is advised. This medication may interact with other drugs, so inform your doctor or pharmacist of any other medications you are taking. In cases of overdose, hypotension and heart function impairment may occur; therefore, seek immediate medical attention for appropriate treatment. This drug is not recommended for children as safety and efficacy in this age group have not been established.
Hives, severe swelling (edema), difficulty breathing, severe allergic reactions, severe skin reactions, jaundice, sudden and severe headache, seizures, confusion, visual disturbances, paralysis, significant reduction in urine output, severe edema accompanied by increased blood pressure, angioedema, rhabdomyolysis, acute renal failure, autoimmune hepatitis, toxic epidermal necrolysis.

This medication should be stored in a tightly sealed container to prevent exposure to air or moisture, ideally at room temperature between 1 and 30 degrees Celsius. Storing it this way helps maintain its effectiveness for a longer period.
