Relief of pain and inflammation related to rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis (degenerative joint disease)
This medication is effective for degenerative joint diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, juvenile rheumatoid arthritis, and osteoarthritis. It is also used for relieving fever and pain from colds, back pain, dysmenorrhea, and postoperative pain. Additionally, it's effective for ankylosing spondylitis, headaches, toothaches, muscle pain, neuralgia, acute gout, psoriatic arthritis, and soft tissue damage (sprains, strains), as well as non-articular rheumatic diseases (tendinitis, tenosynovitis, bursitis). It mainly helps improve inflammation and pain, and is widely used in the treatment of various musculoskeletal disorders. Overall, it is used to relieve pain in the joints and muscles and reduce inflammation, thereby improving the quality of life for patients.
For rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, soft tissue injuries, non-articular rheumatic disease, acute gout, and psoriatic arthritis, ibuprofen should be taken in doses of 200-600 mg orally 3-4 times a day. The maximum daily dose can be up to 3200 mg. For mild to moderate pain and cold symptoms, the dosage is 200-400 mg taken orally 3-4 times a day, adjusted appropriately based on age and symptoms.
For juvenile rheumatoid arthritis, the dosage is 30-40 mg per kg of body weight divided into 3-4 oral doses per day. The one-time dosage for children is as follows: - 11-14 years: 200-250 mg (10-13 mL)
This medication may cause serious side effects like gastrointestinal bleeding if taken by individuals who regularly consume more than three glasses of alcohol per day, so consultation with a doctor or pharmacist is essential. Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), including this medication, can increase cardiovascular risks like heart attack and stroke, so people with cardiovascular diseases or risk factors should exercise particular caution. Significant gastrointestinal adverse reactions such as gastrointestinal bleeding, ulcers, and perforations may occur, particularly in the elderly or those on long-term use. Individuals with gastrointestinal ulcers or bleeding, severe blood abnormalities, liver dysfunction, kidney impairment, severe heart failure, or hypertension should not take this medication. Avoid use in individuals who have bronchial asthma or allergies to this medication’s ingredients or have hypersensitivity to NSAIDs like aspirin. This medication should not be used in late pregnancy as it may harm the fetus, and extra caution is required for patients undergoing cancer treatment. Do not exceed the recommended dosage, and it is safer not to combine it with other NSAIDs. If you are breastfeeding, you should stop nursing or discontinue the medication, as it may be passed into breast milk and cause side effects in infants. Consult with a healthcare professional before taking this medication if you have blood abnormalities, liver or kidney diseases, heart diseases, or hypertension. Taking this medication with aspirin may reduce aspirin's cardioprotective effect and increase the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding, so caution is advised. There may be interactions with certain drugs (ACE inhibitors, lithium, diuretics, methotrexate, anticoagulants, SSRIs, etc.), so consult with a healthcare provider if taking them together. If severe allergic reactions, respiratory distress, severe skin rash, liver abnormalities, blood disorders, or gastrointestinal bleeding occur while taking this medication, immediately discontinue use and consult with a medical professional. Overdosage can result in serious side effects such as dizziness, nausea, vomiting, liver dysfunction, kidney failure, and hypotension requiring prompt medical attention. This medication should be used for the shortest duration possible at the lowest effective dose, and regular blood tests and liver function tests should be conducted during long-term use. During treatment, symptoms like hypertension, edema, and heart failure may worsen, so close monitoring of the condition is necessary. This medication can cause severe skin reactions, so if a skin rash or hypersensitivity is observed, discontinue use immediately. This medicine cannot replace corticosteroids, and if on long-term corticosteroid therapy, dosage adjustments should be made according to a healthcare provider's instructions. Keep out of reach of children and store in the original container to maintain safety and prevent degradation of quality.

Do not take this medication if undergoing high-dose methotrexate cancer therapy. Before taking this medication, patients taking low-dose aspirin, ACE inhibitors, lithium, furosemide, thiazide diuretics, low-dose methotrexate, coumarin anticoagulants (like warfarin), and selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors should consult with their doctor or pharmacist.
This medication should be stored in a tightly sealed container to prevent air or moisture from entering. It is best to maintain a storage temperature between 15 and 25 degrees Celsius at room temperature to preserve the medication's efficacy.
