Carona Tablet (Calidino-Genase)

Adult dose

Administer 30∼150 I.U. per day orally in 3 divided doses. Adjust the dose as appropriate according to age and symptoms.

This medication should not be used in patients with bleeding, such as immediately after a cerebral hemorrhage. Additionally, this medication contains lactose, so individuals with genetic issues such as galactose intolerance, Lapp lactose deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption should not take it. Sometimes, hypersensitivity reactions such as rashes or itching may occur, so if these symptoms appear, the medication should be discontinued immediately. Palpitations may also occur rarely, so caution is advised. Gastrointestinal symptoms such as discomfort in the stomach, nausea, vomiting, decreased appetite, abdominal pain, diarrhea, or constipation may also occur. Additionally, symptoms such as fever, headache, a feeling of heaviness in the head, drowsiness, and lethargy may occur rarely. Elderly individuals may have weakened physical functions, so special care is needed when using this medication, such as reducing the dosage.
