This medication is used to relieve various types of pain and inflammation such as bruises, strains, lower back pain, shoulder stiffness, muscle pain, and joint pain.

Dosage and Administration

Adult dosage

Peel off the release paper from the patch and apply it to the affected area [area of the condition] 1 to 3 times a day.

Precautions

This medication should not be used on children under 30 months old or on areas of dermatitis caused by eczema or poison ivy, or on wounded areas. Individuals with a history of allergic reactions to medications or cosmetics, those with family members having allergic disposition, individuals with very moist skin or severe wounds, those currently receiving medical treatment, children, pregnant women or those who may become pregnant, and nursing women should exercise additional caution when using this medication. If a rash, redness, or itching occurs on the skin during use, discontinue use immediately and consult a pharmacist or doctor. Additionally, if severe itching or pain occasionally occurs, it is important to stop using it right away. The prescribed dosage and usage must be strictly observed, and adults must supervise children using this medication. If symptoms do not improve after 5 to 6 days of use, discontinue use and consult a specialist. The methyl salicylate in this medication can cause toxic symptoms if absorbed in large amounts through the skin, so it should be avoided for prolonged use on large areas. This medication is for external use only and should not be heated with electric blankets or similar items on the site where it is applied.
