This medication is used for patients with essential hypertension whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled with monotherapy of amlodipine or olmesartan medoxomil. How to take

Adult dose

This medication should be taken once daily as one tablet with water, regardless of meals. It is recommended to take it at the same time each day (e.g., in the morning). Precautions

This medication can cause serious harm or death to the fetus and newborn, especially during the second and third trimesters of pregnancy, so it should be discontinued immediately upon confirmation of pregnancy. It should not be used in patients with known allergies to active ingredients or related components, those who are pregnant or breastfeeding, patients with severe liver disease or aortic stenosis, patients with biliary obstruction, those undergoing kidney dialysis, patients in a state of shock, and specific diabetes patients. Patients who are depleted of fluids or salt may experience hypotension, so careful monitoring should be conducted during initial administration, and appropriate actions should be taken if blood pressure drops too low. Caution should also be exercised when administering to patients with rapidly dilating blood vessels, severe heart disease, congestive heart failure, or weakened kidney function and liver impairment. During treatment, side effects such as dizziness, headache, hypotension, orthostatic hypotension, dry mouth, rash, edema, and fatigue may occur, and if any adverse symptoms arise, medical consultation is necessary. This medication may interact with other antihypertensives, diuretics, antibiotics, grapefruit juice, etc., so it is essential to inform about other medications or foods being taken, especially avoiding grapefruit juice. This medication should not be taken during pregnancy, and women planning to become pregnant or who are pregnant should consult healthcare providers. Breastfeeding mothers should consult with their doctor regarding whether to continue breastfeeding or discontinue medication, as this medication can pass into breast milk. It is not recommended for children under 18 years of age, as safety and efficacy have not been established. Elderly patients may have decreased liver, kidney, and heart functions, so they should start at a low dose and be administered with caution. Overdose may lead to severe hypotension, vasodilation, tachycardia, etc., and immediate medical attention should be sought for appropriate treatment. This medication should be stored away from direct sunlight and moisture, and kept out of reach of children.

Serious side effects

Urticaria, severe swelling (edema), chest tightness, difficulty breathing, cold sweat, pallor, severe rash with high fever, blisters, skin peeling, pain in oral/ocular mucosa, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, asthma attack, respiratory abnormalities accompanied by cough + fever, jaundice (yellowing of skin or eyes), extreme lethargy, sudden severe headache, thunderclap headache, seizures, altered consciousness, visual disturbances, paralysis, urination.

Mild side effects

Dizziness, headache, decreased libido, drowsiness, sensory disturbances, sensory reduction, fainting, light-headedness, palpitations, rapid heart rate, hypotension, orthostatic hypotension, cough, nausea, vomiting, indigestion, diarrhea, constipation, dry mouth, abdominal pain, rash, urticaria, muscle tension, limb pain, back pain, polyuria, erectile dysfunction, peripheral edema, swelling, pit edema, fatigue, asthenia, facial edema, decreased potassium levels, increased creatinine levels in the blood.

Not everyone experiences these, and they can vary from person to person.

This medication is sensitive to air and moisture, so it must be stored in a tightly sealed container. It is important to maintain a storage temperature between 1 and 30 degrees Celsius to safely preserve the medication's efficacy.
