For hemostasis and symptom improvement in gastric and duodenal ulcers and erosive gastritis, and symptom improvement in gastroesophageal reflux disease: Sodium alginate is typically administered orally at a dose of 1 to 3g (approximately 20 to 60mL) 3 to 4 times a day on an empty stomach. If oral administration is not possible, nasal intubation (sonde) should be used for administration. 2. For hemostasis during gastric biopsy bleeding: Typically, 0.5 to 1.5g (approximately 10 to 30mL) of this medication should be administered endoscopically and 1.5g (approximately 30mL) should be given orally.

How to take

Adult dose

1.
