Adult administration

In severe cases, 600-1200mg is administered by intramuscular injection or slow intravenous infusion per day. In cases requiring treatment over several days or in mild cases, 300-600mg is administered by intramuscular injection or slow intravenous infusion per day.

This medication may rarely cause serious allergic reactions such as anaphylaxis, and therefore, the patient's condition should be carefully monitored during use. If symptoms such as facial pallor, drop in blood pressure, or irregular pulse occur, the use of this medication should be immediately discontinued. Additionally, skin rash may rarely occur as an allergic reaction, so it is important to stop administration if such symptoms arise. Gastrointestinal symptoms such as decreased appetite, nausea, vomiting, and abdominal pain may occur rarely; consult a healthcare professional if these symptoms arise. This medication should be used immediately after preparation and should not be stored in a dissolved state for a long time. When administering by intramuscular injection, it should be carefully injected avoiding nerves and blood vessels, and if repeated injections are necessary, it is advisable to alternate sides instead of repeating the same site. Particular caution is required when administering to children and minors. This medication should be kept out of reach of children, and transferring it to another container from the original container should be avoided as it could lead to misuse or degradation of quality. It is safest to store it in the original container, tightly sealed.
