This medication is used for patients who need to be treated with both telmisartan and rosuvastatin. Telmisartan is effective in treating essential hypertension and reducing the risk of cardiovascular disease occurrence. It especially helps reduce the risk of death from cardiovascular diseases such as myocardial infarction or stroke in high-risk patients who cannot use ACE inhibitors. Rosuvastatin is used as an adjunct treatment when controlling hypercholesterolemia and dyslipidemia through diet and exercise is insufficient. Additionally, it helps lower high cholesterol, slows the progression of atherosclerosis, and reduces the risk of cardiovascular diseases, stroke, and myocardial infarction. This medicine is used to improve cardiovascular health by managing hypertension and dyslipidemia simultaneously.
