This medication is used for patients who require both Telmisartan and Rosuvastatin. Telmisartan primarily helps reduce the risk of myocardial infarction, stroke, and cardiovascular disease-related mortality in patients with essential hypertension and in high-risk groups with a higher risk of cardiovascular disease. Rosuvastatin is used in patients with hypercholesterolemia and dyslipidemia when improvement is not achieved through dietary control, lowering total cholesterol and LDL cholesterol levels to slow the progression of atherosclerosis. It also reduces the risk of stroke, myocardial infarction, and vascular reintervention in middle-aged individuals with elevated high-sensitivity C-reactive protein levels and cardiovascular risk factors. Therefore, this medication is used to protect cardiovascular health and reduce the risk of related complications.
