Relief from eczema, dermatitis (itching, insect bites, etc.)
This medication is primarily used for eczema, dermatitis, skin itching, and insect bites.
Shake well before use and apply an appropriate amount to the affected area 1 to 3 times a day, adjusting as needed according to symptoms.
This medication is used to relieve inflammation or itching on the skin. However, it should not be used in patients with bacterial, fungal, viral infections, or dermatoses caused by animals, as it may worsen the condition. It is also safer not to administer to patients with allergies to this drug or its components, perforated eardrum, ulcers, severe burns, dermatitis around the mouth, or specific skin diseases. Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding, young children, and the elderly should use this medication with caution, and children under 2 years old should definitely consult a doctor. During use, skin infections may occur, and side effects such as skin irritation, rash, or itching may appear. If these symptoms occur, you must stop using it immediately. Long-term use may result in skin changes such as thinning or expansion of capillaries, so it's recommended to stop using as soon as the symptoms improve. This medication can have systemic effects, and it may be necessary to monitor hormone function through blood tests; abrupt discontinuation may lead to hormonal imbalances, so it should be tapered off slowly. Care must be taken when using near the eyes as it may lead to eye diseases such as glaucoma or cataracts. If you experience blurred vision or changes in eyesight due to this medication, seek ophthalmic care immediately. This medication should generally not be used for dermatitis accompanied by skin infections, and if absolutely necessary, it should be used along with appropriate antibacterial or antifungal agents. If pregnant or breastfeeding, it should be used for the shortest duration and at the lowest dose possible, particularly avoiding application to the breast area whilst breastfeeding. In children, long-term use should be avoided due to risks of adrenal suppression or growth impairments, and caution is necessary in sealed conditions such as diapers as absorption may increase. Elderly patients may experience side effects more easily, so care should be taken to avoid high doses or prolonged use. Excessive use of this medication can result in systemic steroid side effects, thus proper management according to a physician's guidance is critical. It should not be used for ophthalmic purposes and should not be applied for non-therapeutic purposes such as post-makeup or shaving. When using occlusive dressings, they must be done under strict supervision of a physician, and the area should be cleaned before use to reduce the risk of infection. Facial skin is particularly sensitive to this medication, so it is advisable not to use it for prolonged periods. Finally, it should be stored out of reach of children, and patients with psoriasis should be cautious as prolonged use may rarely worsen their skin condition.
