Treatment of allergic and inflammatory skin diseases (eczema, contact dermatitis, etc.) and first-degree burns
This medication is used for the treatment of eczema, contact dermatitis, seborrheic dermatitis, atopic dermatitis, photodermatitis, chronic simple lichen, prurigo, exfoliative dermatitis, itching, psoriasis, and first-degree burns that are accompanied by secondary infections.
Apply an appropriate amount to the affected area (area of disease) 1 to 3 times a day.
This medication should not be used by patients with infections caused by specific bacteria, fungi, viruses, or animal skin infections, as it may worsen symptoms. Patients with allergies to this medication or its ingredients should also avoid use. It is advisable not to use this medication on areas with perforated eardrums, ulcers, severe burns, or frostbite as it may hinder skin healing. Use is also discouraged in cases of perioral dermatitis, common acne, or rosacea. Individuals allergic to specific antibiotics contained in this medication should refrain from use. Pregnant or breastfeeding women and young children must consult a doctor or pharmacist before using this medication. If symptoms of infection or irritation, rash, itching, or redness appear on the skin during use, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional. Prolonged use may cause thinning of the skin, pigmentation changes, or side effects like acne, so care should be taken. This medication can be absorbed through the skin; therefore, using it over large areas for extended periods may affect hormonal functions. When used around the eyes, caution is advised as it may raise intraocular pressure or increase the risk of glaucoma. Patients with impaired kidney function or hearing issues should avoid long-term use. In children, the risk of side effects is higher due to greater absorption relative to body surface area; only minimal amounts should be used. The prescribed dosage and method of application must be strictly followed, and use should be under the supervision of a caregiver. Methods such as occlusive dressings increase the risk of infection; therefore, they should only be employed according to a doctor's directions. If use is necessary for pregnant or lactating women, the risks and benefits must be carefully weighed before use. This medication should be stored out of reach of children and kept in its original container to maintain quality.
