This medication is used to improve symptoms of constipation. It also helps alleviate discomfort from loss of appetite, abdominal distention, abnormal fermentation in the intestines, and hemorrhoids caused by constipation. Therefore, it is effective in improving constipation and various symptoms associated with it.
How to take
Adult dose
Take 1-3 tablets once daily at bedtime (before sleeping).
Child dose
Take 1-2 tablets once daily at bedtime (before sleeping) for those aged 11 to under 15.
Precautions
This medication should not be taken by patients with acute abdominal diseases or bowel obstruction, as well as children under 7 years of age. It is advisable not to take this medication within 1 hour after consuming antacids or milk. Individuals with severe abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, pregnant women or those who may become pregnant, people taking other medications, those on a sodium-restricted diet, and individuals with a history of rectal bleeding or bowel failure should consult a healthcare professional before taking this medication. Additionally, those allergic to or who have had hypersensitivity reactions to the ingredients Yellow No. 4 and Yellow No. 5 should be cautious. If rash, redness, itching, severe abdominal pain, diarrhea, vomiting, or abdominal discomfort or cramps occur during use, stop taking the medication immediately and consult a professional. If constipation does not improve after about one week of use, discontinue and consult a doctor. This medication must be taken according to the prescribed dosage and regimen, and supervision by a guardian is necessary when given to children. It is advisable to avoid use in children under 10 years of age unless specifically needed. Tablets should not be chewed when taken, and prolonged use for more than one week may lead to tolerance and worsening constipation, thus duration of use should be limited. This medication should be stored out of reach of children, in a cool place away from direct sunlight and moisture, and in a tightly sealed container. Additionally, to prevent misuse and maintain quality, it is important not to transfer to other containers.
