This medication is used for patients who need to take two components, Amlodipine and Atorvastatin, simultaneously. Amlodipine treats myocardial ischemia due to heart diseases such as hypertension and stable and variant angina, and helps reduce the risk of angina and vascular surgery in patients with coronary artery disease. Atorvastatin lowers the risk of cardiovascular diseases and is effective in the treatment of hypercholesterolemia and dyslipidemia, particularly contributing to the reduction of risks of myocardial infarction, stroke, and angina, as well as improving vascular health. Therefore, this medication is used to reduce the risk of cardiovascular diseases and to control blood pressure and serum cholesterol levels.
