This medication is used to relieve pain from arthritis such as rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and osteoarthritis, as well as pain from periarticular inflammation around the shoulder, low back pain, sciatica, and non-articular rheumatism.

How to take

Adult dose

As Aseclofenac, take 200 mg once daily. Do not chew or crush this medication; take it whole. To minimize cardiovascular adverse reactions, it should be administered at the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration necessary.

Precautions

This medication may increase the risk of gastric bleeding in individuals who consume more than three alcoholic beverages daily; thus, it is essential to consult a doctor or pharmacist. It may increase the risk of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, so patients with risk factors such as heart failure, hypertension, and diabetes should use it cautiously and take the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration possible. Serious gastrointestinal side effects such as bleeding, ulcers, or perforation may occur, so elderly patients or those with a history of gastrointestinal diseases should be particularly careful. This medication should not be administered to patients with active peptic ulcer or bleeding, those allergic to this medication or similar medications, or asthma patients, among specific patient groups. Patients with impaired kidney or liver function, the elderly, or heart failure patients must consult a doctor beforehand and be closely monitored. Various side effects such as dizziness, liver dysfunction, skin rash, and gastrointestinal disturbances may occur with this medication, so any unusual symptoms should be reported to healthcare personnel immediately.
