CITMEC (Citrulline Malate)

Adult dose

Adults: Take 1g per dose as citrulline malate, diluted in water, 3 times a day. However, do not take for more than 4 weeks.

Child dose

Children (6 years and older): Take 1g per dose, 2 times daily, diluted in water.

This medication should not be taken by children under 6 years of age. It is advisable for pregnant women not to take this medication, as sufficient studies on its safety during pregnancy have not been conducted. It is also recommended that breastfeeding women avoid this medication, as there is a possibility for the drug to be transmitted to the baby through breast milk. If symptoms do not improve after taking the medication for about a month, it is essential to consult a doctor or pharmacist. It is crucial to adhere to the prescribed dosage and administration, and not to arbitrarily increase or decrease the amount. If children are taking it, they should do so under the supervision of a guardian. Initially, gastrointestinal disturbances such as indigestion or abdominal pain may occur rarely, so caution is necessary. This medication should be stored in a safe place out of reach of children, and it is advisable to keep it sealed in its original container. Care should be taken when transferring to another container, as this can diminish the quality of the medication or pose a risk of misuse.

Mild gastrointestinal disturbance

This medication should be stored in a sealed container to prevent air and moisture exposure, preferably in a cool place below 25 degrees Celsius.
