This medication is used for patients who require the simultaneous administration of valsartan and rosuvastatin. Valsartan is effective for essential hypertension, heart failure intolerant to ACE inhibitors, and for reducing the risk of death after myocardial infarction. Rosuvastatin helps control hypercholesterolemia, familial hypercholesterolemia, and various dyslipidemias, and is also used to reduce the risk of cardiovascular diseases and slow the progression of atherosclerosis. Together, these two medications play a critical role in improving cardiovascular health and reducing risk.
