Precautions

This medication may cause severe harm to the fetus and newborn when taken during the second and third trimesters of pregnancy, so it should be discontinued immediately upon confirmation of pregnancy. It should not be used in patients with allergies to the active or related ingredients, during pregnancy or lactation, in patients with severe liver disease or specific heart conditions, in patients undergoing kidney dialysis, in patients in shock, or in certain diabetes patients. Hypotensive patients with fluid or salt depletion may experience initial hypotensive symptoms upon starting this medication, so their condition should be closely monitored, and patients with severe heart conditions should be particularly cautious as sudden vasodilation may result in hypotension. Patients with heart failure or poor kidney function should use this medication carefully, as it may worsen kidney function. This medication can cause various side effects, including dizziness, headache, hypotension, nausea, rash, and swelling; rare severe allergic reactions or liver function abnormalities may also occur. Use during pregnancy should be avoided due to the risk of fetal damage, and lactating women should either discontinue breastfeeding or the medication, as adverse reactions may occur in infants. Safety and efficacy have not been established in children under 18 years of age, so it is not recommended. Elderly patients may have decreased kidney and liver function, so starting at a low dose and closely monitoring their condition is advised. In cases of overdose, severe hypotension and symptoms due to vasodilation may occur, and immediate medical treatment should be sought. This medication should be stored in a tightly sealed container, away from moisture, heat, and direct sunlight, and should not be transferred to another container. Additionally, this medication may interact with other drugs, so it is essential to consult a healthcare professional if taking other medications.
