Precautions

This medication may cause gastrointestinal bleeding in individuals who regularly consume more than three alcoholic drinks per day, so consultation with a physician or pharmacist is essential. This medication may increase the risk of thrombosis-related conditions such as cardiovascular diseases, myocardial infarction, and stroke; therefore, it is important to take it at the lowest effective dose and for the shortest duration necessary. Serious problems such as perforation, ulcer, and bleeding may occur in the gastrointestinal tract, so particular caution is advised for the elderly or those with a history of gastrointestinal disorders. Individuals with hypersensitivity or a history of specific allergies, those with severe liver or kidney impairment, and pregnant or nursing women should avoid taking this medication. Patients with reduced liver or kidney function, asthma, heart failure, hypertension, or those taking specific medications should use this drug cautiously and consult a physician before administration. While taking this drug, various side effects such as indigestion, vomiting, abdominal pain, headache, dizziness, skin rash, swelling, hypertension, etc., may occur; therefore, any abnormal symptoms should be reported to medical personnel immediately. As this drug is metabolized in the liver, taking it with other medications that affect liver function may cause changes in blood concentration, necessitating dosage adjustments. Particularly in late pregnancy, there is a risk of harm to the fetus, so women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should avoid taking this drug, and if pregnancy is confirmed while taking it, administration should be stopped immediately. Elderly patients are at higher risk for reduced kidney and heart function, so extra caution is needed during administration, with regular checks required to ensure no abnormalities occur. For long-term use of this medication, regular blood tests and kidney and liver function tests are necessary, and if any abnormal findings are observed, use should be discontinued immediately. In the case of an overdose, symptoms such as vomiting, drowsiness, and gastrointestinal bleeding may occur; therefore, appropriate treatment should be sought at a hospital immediately. Keep out of the reach of children and avoid transferring the medication to other containers, as this may compromise its quality.
