This medication is used to relieve pain caused by rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, osteoarthritis (degenerative arthritis), periarthritis of the scapulohumeral joint, and non-articular rheumatism such as low back pain and sciatica.

How to take

Adult dose

For aceclofenac, take 200 mg once daily. Do not chew or crush this medication; take it whole. To minimize cardiovascular adverse reactions, it should be administered at the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration possible.

Precautions

This medication may carry a risk of gastrointestinal bleeding if taken by individuals who regularly consume more than three glasses of alcohol per day, so consultation with a doctor or pharmacist is necessary. This medication can increase the risk of cardiovascular diseases, thus patients with risk factors such as hypertension, diabetes, and smoking should use it cautiously and take the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration possible. This medication may cause serious gastrointestinal side effects such as gastrointestinal bleeding, ulcers, and perforation, with a higher risk particularly in the elderly; therefore, attention should be paid to gastrointestinal symptoms during use. Mild side effects

Dizziness, abnormal liver enzyme levels, itching, rash, skin adverse reactions, anemia, blood and lymphatic system abnormalities (leukopenia, thrombocytopenia, neutropenia, hemolytic anemia, aplastic anemia, agranulocytosis), hyperkalemia, depression, bizarre dreams, insomnia, visual disturbances, optic neuritis, sensory disturbances, tremors, drowsiness, headache, taste disturbances, neck stiffness, fever or disorientation, confusion, hallucinations, tinnitus, lethargy, palpitations, chills.

Not everyone experiences these, and they can vary from person to person.

This medication should be stored in a tightly closed container to prevent exposure to air and moisture and kept at a temperature between 1°C and 30°C. Storing it this way helps maintain its effectiveness and prevents degradation.
